Title: India budget encourages more foreign inflows

To deepen the corporate bond markets, the Finance Ministry announced direct access to corporate bonds for Qualified Foreign Investors. Earlier, offshore investors were allowed to purchase corporate bonds under the USD45bn quota but only via sub-accounts registered with SEBI.
