Congress manifesto released this week does make tall promises; creating 100 million jobs in manufacturing by 2022 being one prime example. More realistic and positive statements in the manifesto were ensuring passage of the long due GST and DTC bills. It also mentions taking the infra spend upto US$1 trillion in 5 years. Other aspects included doing away with retrospective taxation and increasing healthcare spends.
The question they should ask themselves is whether it’s not too late in the day ? What did the Corrupt Congress Politicians do for over 10 Years in Power ? Defeat the Congress
