Hindustan Unilever remains focused on expanding its personal care portfolio, introducing Dove Face Wash and Sure Men deodorant. The company is leveraging the strong premium brand equity of the Dove brand, which has seen healthy share gains in the shampoo and soaps category. The facewash has been launched at the premium end with 50ml SKU priced at Rs75.
The company introduced its global brand Sure in India last year, targeting women initially. It has now extended this brand to the men’s segment. HUL is already a market leader in the Deodorant space in India with Axe, Dove, and Rexona brands.
