Title: can i open a salary account after settling the credit card dues with same bank

hi,

        i had a credit card in 2007 with a due of 80k out of which 50k was the principle amount and the rest was interest. i made a full and final settlement 3 months back by paying 20k. Now i made a job change and my new employer provides the salary account with the same bank. my questions are

1.  is the credit card case closed
2. will there be any problem after creating a salary account such as deductions without intimations etc

As per my information your credit card is closed and they cannot deduct amount from your salaried account as they have provided full and final settlement letter against the total outstanding due till that date.
