Dear Sir,
I had taken a HDFC Credit Card in March 2011 and my credit limit was Rs. 20,000. I had used the entire amount and there was outstanding in my account and i duely paid the minimum payment & immediate payment for the last 2 Years. Now i want to have a settlement on my credit card. The latest statement says that the minimum and total amount due is Rs. 43,832.24.
After calculating i found out that i have paid a minimum of Rs. 39,230 whereas i could not have spend more than Rs. 18,000 at all.
Please suggest how to go about in going for the credit card settlement,whom to contact and how to negotiate for the settlement.
