While opting for credit card, I was told that i will get 15% or 20% discount if i use ICICI credit card at some specific hotels as mentioned in their list of ICICI culinary treats hotel list. I have visited 3 hotels in Baroda namely Flavour restaurant, Sigdi Restaurant and Hariyali restaurant who claim 20%, 15% and 15% discount on total bill respectively if you use icici credit card as per their culinary treat mobile application. But when you visit the restaurant, the restaurant staff says that the there is no offer like this on credit cards. ICICI bank must stop cheating customers like this or else they should remove the names of such hotels from their culinary treat list. ICICI should take care in checking at regular intervals whether the hotels are really offering the discount mentioned or not.
My bill amount was Rs. 1680/- in hariyali restaurant, i should have got discount of 15% which is Rs. 252/- on icici credit card but i did not get the discount.
Usually in such cases the Offers are not in Sync with the Bank's Promotion Period. Best thing is verify with the Hotel before you leave. ICICI has very little control on the QoS of Banking Products, you can imagine how bad it will be for Promotions and Offers :-)
