CRedit card emoi conversion
« on: July 07, 2014, 11:32:20 AM »
I have standard chartered bank credit card. I have converted transactions to emi. I missed on to payment due date. Now bank is maintaining separate sub account for emi transaction & they have levied late charges twice, one for credit card & one for so called emi account. Is this right?

1. When Customer Makes Payment, it is first considered that they Pay the EMI portion and then the remaining will be considered for Credit Card Spends.

2. Banks do maintain the EMI Account and Credit Card Transaction Account Separately and they go on shifting the balance from EMI to Credit Cards.

3. Late Fee Twice may not be correct, so kindly go through the fine-print that they would have given when you converted the transaction to EMI.

4. APR in the Credit Card Billing Cycle is likely to be at the same rate on Credit Card Transactions for both EMI Slot unpaid and all the Credit Card Transactions that qualify.
