I went to HDFC Bank Branch branch at hirabaug and asked my outstanding amount then i have paid and applied for closure of credit card. but after 5 months i got big bill of credit card then i went to bank and they told that you have not paid full outstanding so this is with interest and penalty. so finally i have paid that amount and made all clear. but then again i got bill at home and saying that still you have outstanding amount. so now i have paid all the bills and outstanding and i took letter of clearance but i am feeling that bank has cheated.
I was mentally harassed because they were sending me bills after closure also and even i went to bank and paid what they have said then also they were sending outstanding amounts with penalty so every time i had financial damage and every time i had go to banks frequently and wasted my time.
In this case, just request the Banking Ombudsman's Contact Details from HDFC Bank and Write about your issue to him. He will Intervene and close the matter ASAP. If he doesn't then bring the matter to the notice of the RBI Ombudsman in Ahmadabad.
