Title: Credit card transaction failure
Post by: Ram on October 17, 2015, 12:42:27 AM
Dear Sir

Recently I was doing an online transaction with flipkart, through SBI credit card.Transaction is failed at the end moment after submitting OTP. SBI sent me a transaction alert of debited amount, but at flipkart's end order was not placed? I mailed to flipkart CS & they replied that the amount was recieved, but later refunded on the same day.

But still the refunded amount was not reflecting on SBI's site.

I spoke to SBI's CS. They told me to wait 2-3 days?

I want to know, if I am moving in right way or being cheated by both or either one of them.

What should be the correct course of action?

Pls advise?

Once the Vendor does not claim the amount, the bank has to reverse the transaction. Now the vendor in question being Flipkart, it is safe to assume they will stick to what they have said. Had it been Kingfisher, you'd have to spend some sleepless nights like I did to protect my rights :-)
