Hi

I had 3 cards (1. CITIBANK  2. HSBC and 3. HDFC (running regular payment).

Because of big losses in my business in 2009 i was not able to clear the dues
properly. From end of 2010 I am recovering so tried to resolve these messes
one by one. Now I have No business dues except these cards.

The citibank card is in default from  last 6 month for  Rs. 56000/- (With interest and late payments)

The HSBC was Rs. 39000(With interest and late payment)
(in this i have deposited around Rs. 30000) and current balance payment is 9700/-

Please suggest us how should i proceed to proper closing of these cards.

HSBC guys has send me a letter for settlement for Rs. 10000 (when balance as Rs. 17500) Less
by saying that they will mark my ccbill account with nil outstanding and Sattled as Status
(In this case there will be no payment required)

For CITIBANK i have to take payment initiative.

Thanks

Hari

There is a Best deal Available. Go and talk to SBI. They are offering Personal Loans at 16.5%. Tell them you will transfer all the outstanding amount from all your Cards to  SBI personal Loan. This way all those Card Accounts will be Gracefully closed and no negative impact in CIBIL.

IF, SBI doesn't entertain your request for Balance Transfer to Personal Loan then, if you have any kind of Immovable Property, pledge it and they will definitely consider your application.

Behave Responsibly with Credit.

hello all,

I used HSBC card long back now the CIBIL status shows as "written off"
I had payment due for the amount of 1,40,000.

Please suggest me how should i proceed to proper closing of these cards.

I negotiated with HSBC guys and finalised the amount for 90,000. They have send me a letter for settlement for Rs. 90000.

by saying that they will mark my ccbill account with nil outstanding and Sattled as Status
(In this case there will be no payment required)

So, is this okay for me to go ahead and apply for any personal loans or home loan. please suggest me if anyone has come across these type of issues.
