Axis Bank Over charged Interest Rates

Hi

I have been charged debit interest Rs 3699,My total due amount was 77000 aprox on 04/08/2014,i have paid 67000 on date and rest 10000 amount on 10 Aug,so all the dues has been cleared on 10 Aug 2014,then plz let me know how the interest has been calculate to 3699 for 5 day late payment on sum of 10000 Rs.

bank is charging unnecessary  interest  and not providing interest calculation sheet please let me know that whether bank is bound to provide interest detail to the customer or not.

You can Gracefully Dispute With the Bank.

1. Send A Written Correspondence asking for the same and they are under the obligation to reply within reasonable time , say 15 days
2. If they do not reply or not satisfied with the reply, Appeal to the Axis Bank Ombudsman
3. If not satisfied with the Axis Bank Ombudsman reply, then appeal to the RBI Ombudsman from where you will definitely get a VALID response. Include Photocopy of your previous communication with Axis Bank Ombudsman.
