cC settlement... totally confused

Dear Card Bhai,

I was using HSBC and CITI bank CC 2 years back, CC limit 95k and 65k respectively, however after using all the money… I started paying the monthly dues, recession came and lost my job, then I got a job after 8 months in UAE I went there, now I am back to India and working here but I am not getting any calls from there on regular basis… they called me not quite often can u please tell me what is going on underneath…. One more when I was in UAE I got a call from a lawyer from Mumbai and he was talking about citi bank…. But after then I never got any call??? I m still fishy…. Advice me what to do?...... have they issued any bailable warrent or NBW against me or not.... if yes how to check that???.... what to do sir

Well, this does fall under Criminal Law. But I don't know what warrants they have issued. Mere lawyer calling doesn't mean a court order. However, you should approach the bank in good faith and ask for settlement and settle this issue, otherwise all future borrowing [Home Loans, Car Loans etc] is a closed chapter for you.
