I am using a credit card from HDFC bank from last 3.6 years. With a limit of 40,000/-
I did use this card to purchase few of the household appliances in the month of July and October 2008.worth of 30,000/-.And I contacted the bank about 100times to convert this transaction into an easy emi facility.
After so many calls and request through an email they send me a additional My city benefit Emi card.
But they fail to convert those transaction into emi .And just apologise every time saying this facility is not available on your card. On the top they increase the credit limit upto 60,000.
Now I did use their My city benefit Emi card to purchase a goods of 7000/- and 5700/-.They again fail to convert in to emi where in the card which I use was an emi card.When I mailed them they accepted an error at their end and given a waiver of 4800/- only and advice that now they can convert the whole outstanding in to an emi if I pay 13000/- in one go as the current outstanding is 73000/-.When it come to below 60,000 they will convert it to a loan.Now on September I paid 13000/- and they convert the 59000/-into an easy emi.I was keep paying an emi everymonth but due to lack of funds not able to pay the full emi everymonth due to that they levy with all interest ,late and finance charges.Till today I paid about 25760/- and the rest amount should be 340240/-.But on the statement its showing 45000/-left.
On the top they keep harassing my parents every month for the dues who are living in Varanasi and they have nothing to do with all this dues.
I have contacted every person in hdfc bank .All failed to assist me.
I would like to go for a settlement .What all option I have and how can I go for settlement on my card.
