Title: Status reported as Written Off after paying full amount

In 2007 I did a full payment and setteled the account of SBI card. But when I get my CIBIL report in June 2011 as my credit card application was rejected. I find that status of my account is shown as Written off instade of closed or blank.


Please advice how can I get this updated.

You contact the Bank's Ombudsman and tell him to CORRECT the error they have reported to CIBIL. He should do it or may ask for some supporting documents and upon verification of the same he is required to write to CIBIL and other Bureaus where they upload the data.

Can anyone help me with the SBI Ombudsman contact details(Mail , Phone, Postal address).
